Great work sorting out the Volvo! If you need the handles to match on your tools, Snap-On does sell a loom splitter. In my experience, it isn't necessarily more robust than the cheaper ones, but at least it's easy to get warrantied if you break it.

The free tool add-on option is gone for me now too. I think the grinder/XC5.0/charger for $149 is still a good deal by itself, but it's a bummer that the perk that made it an amazing deal is now gone.

Mine both arrived as well. Boxes mashed up, and the plastic spools were cracked in places, but the wire is perfect and they'll run no problem. I'm happy.

I'd have to look closely at mine, but it looks to me like your horseshoe is just worn/wallowed out. IIRC, the horseshoe should fit tight(er) in the groove on the spindle.

Cool! Why does the sign say "Prentiss Patent Vise." If the company name didn't change until after the sign was built? Was the Prentiss name used for the vise itself before the company name was changed (since it was after all the designers name)?

The listing says 6-pack under "item details" and "additional details". I don't see mention of a 12-pack anywhere. Even if it's only 6, it's still a decent price, and I have had good luck with the other bits (also from this thread) from Cle-Line.
