    Yes it was really nice, not one scratch or dent. I'm still mad about it but whats done is done. The seller did contact me and we're trying to get it straight. Ive never shipped one myself but I always said I would bolt it to wood like you said.

    Ive got plenty of pics but if its as tough as you say it is Im considering just keeping it and fixing it. Ive got a piece of cast iron the right size that I can cut and shape then weld it on.

    Yes. UPS delivered it. The broken piece wasn't in the box. Looks like a combination of poor handling and bad packaging. The box had holes in it and there were pieces of broken Styrofoam in the box. Makes me sick, the vise was dirty but other than the break it was perfect.
