Only one: Choosing an Electric Impact

Once I bought my cordless IR I haven't looked back at all the other junk. I swapped all my cordless to IR that's how happy I am with it.

    Genie 2032 Slab scissor lift

You could have a bad dynamic brake valve, coil or low hydraulic pressure. The fact that it works in rabbit mode and not in turtle mode would lead me to believe you may have a pressure issue.

    PSA swollen lug nuts

I haven't run across a single nut or bolt that my IR W7150 wouldn't remove. Those tin covered lug nuts are garbage as you've discovered and always get thrown away if/when I come across them.

Can someone help me identify this type of bolt?

You need to start by measuring the diameter of the shaft across the round portion. Once you know the diameter you should be able to do a search for a D shaft knob or coupler of that diameter.

What is with the complete lack of progress on corded impacts?

IR W7150 is the best impact gun IMHO. I own one and several other IR cordless and dont know why I hadn't bought them years earlier.

    Garage Door Opener Problems

Could very easily be a broken spring. Manually open the door and see if it's rather heavy. When my door broke a spring it would not open.
