    Spngr311's 2 Car Garage

I finally have a small update. I finally got around to finishing my E46 couch. Took a futon for the outside of it and welded up a frame from some 1" tubing.

    Tite Reach - Longer Versions?

I have a unique problem removing some nuts in a very tight and hard to reach area and was wondering if anyone knew of a tool similar to this: http://www.tite-reach.com/#shop But with a longer reach, but with similar torque capacity. Thanks in advance!

Couch from Car Rear Seat Ideas?

Any suggestions for a good online metal supply shop? When I bought some steel locally, they really didn't want to sell me the small quantities I needed for my last project (gran turismo racing seat). They did in the end, but they were pretty grumpy about it.

Couch from Car Rear Seat Ideas?

Damn, these are really nice. I really like that BMW one for how clean it is. That is the style I am looking to emulate. What did you do for the back and bottom?

Couch from Car Rear Seat Ideas?

I have a rear seat out of an E46 3-series that I plan to make into a couch for the garage. I know this has been done before and was hoping someone would share their setup so that I can steal some of the design for mine. I don't need it to be on casters, since it will stay in place. I also...

    Operation: Minitruck/Cafe Garage

Talk about progress! Nice score on the cabinets and I like the use of the slat walls. They look good in there. Nice mintruck too. Miss my 2000 ranger, wish I never sold it.

    Spngr311's 2 Car Garage

I used to. Prior to moving in, I sold the E39 M5 and used part of the money for remodeling (including the kitchen) and the other part for an E36 M3 sedan (that is in there now). I miss that M5, it was a much much better car, but not hearing about having a crappy kitchen everyday is a close...

    Spngr311's 2 Car Garage

Thanks, Stretch. It's definitely not for everyone and a lot of people have no idea what they are, it's kind of my litmus test for people! 55cadillacking - that is exactly the guidance I was looking for with the ceiling lights. I think I'll position them on the aisle behind the cars...

    Spngr311's 2 Car Garage

I do have three questions. The first is does anyone have a link to a garage couch from a rear bench seat that I could use for inspiration? The second area I need advice on is general lighting suggestions. I only have two fluorescent fixtures with 2 tubes each and was wondering if led are worth...

    Spngr311's 2 Car Garage

This is our first house and my wife and I agreed that I should get to have the garage how I want it. Unfortunately, it is not a large garage, but I have some plans for it that will make it very liveable and functional. Here is the garage about 18 months ago when we bought the house: The...
