Has anyone regretted getting Racedeck Freeflow and wished they went with solid tiles?

I have Swisstrax Ribtrax smooth. I love the flow through Design and have never, ever wished that they were solid. I'm happy that I'm not encumbered by a heavy level of OCD like others who worry about dirt on the concrete below the tiles.

Anyone regret doing Rigid Plastic tiles?

Love my Swisstrax ribtrax smooth and simply could not be happier. When I work on the cars, I just put plastic real estate sign panels under the jack and jack stands.

    Cutting 18" Racedeck Flooring?

I used a power miter box with a fine blade to cut my Swisstrax. Worked great.

Moisture or mold under Racedeck or Swisstrax?

Zero mold issues with my Swisstrax Ribtrax Smooth. Dirt, however, drops through the tiles and under the floors. Complete non-issue that the wet "dirt"/debris holds moisture and creates mold. I do have a minisplit in the garage, so it's climate-controlled.

The only photos I have are ones that show my cars; I'd rather keep that private.

    Cleaning my Racedeck garage floor

If you're worried about bits of gravel, I would try a robot vacuum cleaner. I run it on my Swisstrax Smooth, and although I don't have to worry about gravel, it picks up leaf debris just fine.

    Swisstrax Flooring Goodness

I went with Swisstrax because they have the Swisstrax Smooth, a far more eye-pleasing visual pattern than the Ribtrax or the Race Deck stuff. Floor jacks roll super-easily. The Swisstrax pulls apart in an exceptionally easy manner, great for vacuuming or finding lost parts. I didn't even bother...

    RaceDeck color selection - thoughts?

I went with alternating black and gray with a bold red threshold strip. Love how understated it is.

Anybody use iRobot / Roomba / Dirt Dog for Shop Floors?

We have four different robot vacuum cleaners, one of which is in the garage. Works great for picking up leaves and tire debris off of our Swisstrax floor. It was a unit we bought on Amazon for around $325 or so. Can’t recall. Has an app so that you can start it remotely. All of the robot vacuum...

    Swisstrax sales?

I went with the Swisstrax smooth and absolutely love the look. I was actually admiring it a couple days ago and thinking, "I'm sure glad I went with this understated appearance." The Ribtrax made my eyes vibrate too much. Washing the cars in the garage is just fantastic with how the water and...

    Portable A/C in the garage

FWIW, I ran a dehumidifier in my old garage one summer, thinking that pulling the moisture out of the air would make the space more tolerable. Wrong. It was drier, but the garage with so much more ridiculously hotter than before that it was even more inhospitable for me to work in. I removed the...

    SwissTrax or RaceDeck Help!

I ended up going with Swisstrax smooth after I went to a friends garage to check out his Ribtrax (like RaceDeck's Freeflow). I found the pattern to be too visually vibrating for my eyes and knew it was going to be a long-term problem. The Swisstrax smooth was absolutely the right choice for me...

Energy efficient way to control temperature swings in detached garage

My detached garage situation is similar to yours and has no insulation. The answer is easy: minisplit. Someday, I’ll add insulation, but, for now, the Mitsubishi gets the job done admirably.

    RaceDeck sales and installation question

Interesting. If not a spammer, seemingly a shill? Most of his posts are in support of Race Deck, NTTAWWT, but they seem notable. I definitely noticed.
