Anthony666, I was choosing the lex because it has a higher heat transfer rate. I do not want any issues, I'll go with the cheaper pex. Randy, the heat pump idea sounds good. I still think I would be better served with a propane tankless boiler or tankless water heater.

That's worth looking into. Thus year we have had a bunch of 0F and negative nights. The heat pump has been running more heated defrost cycles. In a few more years I'll upgrade to the current unit of the time.
