They look really nice, how is their action? I think Hazet ratcheting wrenches (and Stahlwille's too) are made in Taiwan. Gedore 7R and 7UR ratcheting wrenches are German made though.

Mine too, all of the ones bigger than 2.5mm in my metric set have Bondhus and 'Made in USA' on them. I have a few odd keys that are like OP describes, with a hex symbol and USA stamped on them. I assumed that they were made by Allen (based on their logo anyway http://www.allenhex.com/l-keys/).

Says so right under their username.

I found a 28mm/30mm DOE for $10 at a second hand tool store. This now has pride of place next to our gas bottles for changing regulators. Fits the Aussie O2, He and N2 regs perfectly.

Does Homebase have any connection to ToolUp? This looks like a straight up rebrand, like gdoc3 mentioned.

Huh, those are definitely different to what I have purchased from Bunnings, and the Trojan logo is different too. They look like genuine Wihas though, it just looks like someone else has added their name to them.

Where abouts are you located? In Australia, "Trojan" is the house brand of Bunnings. I believe they are owned by ITW-Proline, but I am not 100% certain. Funny thing is that Bunnings also carry Wiha. The 2 Wiha drivers I have purchased there do not have Trojan written on the other side to the...

Yeah, do that. Last years kits was pretty tidy. We had a guy graduate from our lab and the kit was his leaving gift to take overseas with him. Sounded like he used it from day 1 putting together stuff for his new apartment, so it was a good gift :)

I'm pretty sure last years one didn't have a bottle opener. I bought 4 last year as gifts for close colleagues and I think last years was basically just a mini pass through socket set with a few extra bits.

Ditto on this. I bought a couple of individual 7/16-20 rethreaders from the Snap On website recently and they have worked fantastically. About AU$5 each for the tap and die.

We have a few of the open box 13 series at work that we use on pneumatic lines. It is not a hard life for them, but they are thinner than standard and can get into tighter spots.
