    Track.One's Shop Build

Congratulations. Its nice to see someone doing well when the rest of us are struggling, especially as you are doing good things too (the hurricane volunteering) when so many wouldn't. Full respect to you and I'm sure you will provide inspiration to others and the beliefe that hard work can...

    Moving a full tool chest

I,ve just shipped my tool box with tools in it along with the rest of my workshop from the UK to Florida. I am expecting the draws not to be as tidy as when it left but the movers assured me everything will be fine. It is insured.

Oil Pan Deepening (lots of pics)

My old race engine builder used to do that on our ford cvh engines as we were not allowed dry sumps, also plated up inside to baffle with a hole for the extended pick up. Never had any leaks.

COO (And I don't mean Chief Operating Officer)

I think people should realise why these cheap imported tools are in our countries, I'm thinking it's because we as nations keep buying them! Not everything in our western super power countries is great here in Britain we no longer have any of what used to be our great industrial heratige. As...

    Another head scratcher from ebay

There are people out there that think they can't buy some stuff such as snap on products because they are not in the trade. They will pay stupid prices as they have no idea what the real cost is. Most of us are sensible to check companys web sites before we bid on stuff as we know we can just...

    SAE or metric

Thanks for that guys, that is what I thought considering the majority of manufacturers all share parts and engines. I have both obviously more metric but do have some good imperial stuff.

    SAE or metric

This may seem odd, bit late, stupid or something that will lead to an oh dear along the line. As posted before I am in the process (a long one) of moving to the US as I am now under contract buying an auto repair garage. I am currently a tech here in the UK. Any way on to the point, most if...

    Let's see your toolbox.

They are sold in the UK under the name of US Pro. Only seen themon UK ebay not sure aboutthe rest of europe but the seller might be able to help. As for quality I have the large setup and love it, good solid construction with roller bearing draws. They feel better than most shop sold units...

Is this tool a female ribe or female torx plus?

I wouldn't expect too much quality from laser tools as the ones I have used seem cheap and nasty and break. They are cheap and normally available in Halfords or motor factors.

    What brand is this (German)?

I'd possibly say king **** but thought they were made in the UK, maybe they have a plant there in Germany

What is your favorite Brand of Tools?

I don'thave a favourite brand but just just prefer what feels right and what your comfotable using. Although I am not a fan of spanners (wrenches in American) that have raised center sections or rubber handled ratchets. I generally prefer SO Britool Mac some Sealy items but not all. IR for...

    US PRO Toolbox

Thanks I know they are there but they dont fit inside as the large drawer has sockets in as well as the top, I need to take the sets out of thier box's and put them on rails or similar. The tools under the box are a set of bolt cutters, a large rivet gun and a pair of large crimping pliers. Thanks

    US PRO Toolbox

Has anyone ever heard of US PRO toolbox's. I bought mine off the bay here in the UK and think it is great. I find it just as nice as the snap on ones and probably better than britool, facom etc. It has fully roller bearing slides and its smooth as silk and handles most of my heavy stuff such...
