Thanks for all the positive comments. The house itself is nice but the building really sold it for me. The insulation and AC in the building should make it comfortable year round in hot Houston.

Closed on a new house on 6/30 that gives me more garage and storage space. House has an attached 23'x25' garage with 23'x19 carport. Single garage door in back leads to a 25'x30' metal building. Not been able to do anything in either while we complete work inside the house but looking forward...

Congratulations on the new home. If it were me, I'd leave it alone and use it for storage space like you are now. As it's not a forever home, and the fact that it already has a 3 car garage, chances are the next owner will want the space as originally intended rather than extra garage space...

I would like to see what one of these facilities inside the 610 loop would do. It would be expensive no matter how you approached it, but if you could find an existing building and break up into units that would probably be easiest. I'm 2 miles west of Downtown close to the old industrial area...
