never understood the appeal of them. i like that they are made here in canada but the tools ive used by them (ratchets and sockets mainly) were crude and bulky and low tooth count with high back drag. all with a large price tag-no thanks

there are much better products on the market. a business must always adapt and change, it may not take a company down right away but not evolving will eventually take a company down. it is not 50 years ago.

channellock is good but not the best at a good price. the quality punches above the price. however the downside is that the company is slow to evolve, and if you dont evolve as a business you will fail eventually. i hope they change because they are capable of evolving and becoming better

with any low to midprice tool provider you need to look at the product itself because they come from all over, one brand might have better sockets but crappier pliers, or even better chrome sockets but worse impact sockets

i used some of their tools at school (BCIT) and they are decent tools. the sockets have good fit and finish, the ratchets are good but have relatively high back drag.
