Maybe I missed this, but why don't you just leave the tool chest on the casters instead of building that frame work? That way if you wanted to you could roll one out closer to where you are working. I really love the upper cabinets and I may want to copy that idea.

I am building an new house with attached garage and find it interesting that my garage footings are 3 ft down where yours are much much shallower. I would think that the footings would be the same considering we are in the same state. The build looks like it is coming along great now. good luck...

Love it. Want to do something the same way. It sure got small looking once the walls went up thou. But they are never big enough. Good luck and keep up with the pics i want to see what you do with the upstairs.

I think this is a very cool building. I can't wait to see more of how the house will look/turn out inside the building. I showed this to my wife and first thing she said is that is weird why would you do that. I told her to wait until the end and see more pics. Women!

Your build is look great. I like the design and style you have. Do you have any more pictures of the wiring or the layout/design of your wiring set up?

How are the roof boards attached to the metal trusses? They look like they are in some kind of saddle?

what part of the building did you put the machine shop? the lower drive out?

For just a cold storage shed where you are not repairing things in there 30' is wide enough. I have a 30' x 36' and have 9 tractors, two cars, garden tractor and some misc. stuff in there. When the shed is full in the winter you can't do much in there but it keeps everything under one roof and...

That looks great! I just repainted my barn, did the singles about 3 years ago. I hate seeing old barns just fall. They have so much space potential.
