    Underhoist Stands

Say, I have a tripod type stand that’s low profile I purchased from Greg Smith for use with my scissor lift. I’d like a second stand and the convenience of a single post since I already have the tripod is appealing. The rub is that they are too tall for under my scissor lift. From looking at...

    Mid-Rise scissor lift

I have had the Titan SL-6600 mid-rise scissor lift for just over a year now. There are mid-rise lifts that have higher lift but this has a rated capacity of 6600 pounds and lifts my 2500HD extended cab without issue. It has three roller wheels per side and is very stable when the vehicle is up...

    Properly loading car lift

Here is a $15 guide showing the lift points for most vehicles. It’s not a bad thing to have around if one is not overly familiar with lifts. https://www.autolift.org/ali-store/alilp-guide/ Rest the vehicle on the locks.

    scissor lift for tire/brake work

I also have this same Titan lift. I have used it for about six months without issue on the family’s Elantra, RAV4, Ford Five Hundred, Focus, Dodge Durango and Chevy 2500HD. Ramps are a necessity for the cars. I groaned a bit recently changing the trans filter on the 2500HD but that’s an issue...

    Scissor Lift

Yes, it’s only six weeks old and the 2500HD has only been lifted a few times but I sense no straining on the pump’s part during the lifting processing. Like you, I’m thrilled by what can be done with a mid rise lift. Happy, happy, happy. For folks looking to purchase one I’ll note that I could...

    Scissor Lift

I purchased the Titan SL-6600 midrise scissor lift about six weeks ago. It claims to be rated for 6600 pounds. I gave up a little bit of lift height for the extra lift capacity to provide an added cushion for my 2500HD 4x4 extended cab. For those interested here is a link...

    OTC/HF front end service kit

Just purchased the KD front end service set below http://www.tooltopia.com/kd-tools-41690.aspx The price is comparable to the HF set. I haven't had a chance to use it but it's visually better than the HF set at the local store. It's manufactured in Taiwan if that plays a role in your decision.
