If you are only removing these bolts{POS} for pan removal, I have now started just bending that bracket enough to get the pan off and not dealing with them. And bend it back. Worked many times for me.

I am not richfinn, but I have that ThinkScan 689BT scantool. It is a good scan tool. It has some functions that my Snap ON's do not have. And there are some things Snap On does better, like graphing. I recommend this tool, not as O.E. equivelant, but as an aftermarket scantool.

On a Honda vehicle, check service information for the order to bleed each wheel. Conventional way is RR, LR, RF, LF. My Honda Pilot gives instructions to do an order different from that.

If you did not flush the system completely before adding 7 oz. of oil, you may have 3 or 4 ozs. of excess oil in the system.

I would first check the screws holding the head, {ratchet], parts together. They may have loosened up. Mine did that once.

mikey03, the M11 is used on GM headbolt threads. Thats all I remember using it on.

I can not tell from the pictures, but, I would look for reverse rotation threads.

You are right about front bearings quieting down on turns, typically, as you said, but wouldn't a LH turn and it quieting down be a LH bearing, most of the time? You would be transfering weight to the RH, taking the weight off the LH side.

I haven't seen one made in years. I have worn out 2 of them in past years. I remember almost always having to "back up" the timing a little to get them to fire up.

Along with the advise of a hot engine temperature, if they are stuck tight, I first give it a pull in the tightening direction. I try to feel or hear something happen, then go to the loosen direction.

I agree with richfinn. I have the "doctor" type stethoscope, and the electronic type one, and I get better results from the windshield washer jug on the screwdriver handle.
