Wanted to share the final update: I went with a professional installer instead of trying myself. It was a good call because in order to fit it in place he had to release the torsion spring, slide the torsion bar in and out again, and stretch the spring back in place. I wouldn't have attempted...

Thanks. My issue is I'm not sure if I can wiggle it in, even before sliding the torsion bar inside the shaft or adjusting the collar. Maybe I need to cut the torsion bar a bit. The pics show the room I have. I'm afraid to order one online and having to return it.
