Thanks for the response. The heating contractor was recommending a 200,000 BTU heater. What did you use to come up with your calculation? Your sizing looks more in line than contractors.

I have built a 54' x 72' pole building with 16' side wall with scissor trusses, 2 " insulation in floor, r19 in side walls & r38 in ceiling .Inside the building there will be a 28' x 30' apartment. My question is what size unit heater would i need ? I am looking to install a Reznor heater...
