Was running out room so had to make a platform out of pallet racks.

I built the hutch myself and made that a part of it. No part number available lol.

Got some drawers and arranged the box a bit different, might add a side cab and take the triple bank home.

Finally got my work setup how I want.

Thanks guys, it wasn't that bad to build. It only took me 5 hours to build the frame from square stock lengths. The door was the hardest part but I made it easily removable in case I don't use it/like it. Total came in at about a third of what a Snap on one would be and it's larger.

Finally finished building a riser just as my new ktl 1023 showed up.

Powder coat.

Done and done for now, still have to add a matching lock.

Been busy at the shop so no forward movement on the hutch yet lol. The door folds out and up and will stick up and out at an upward angle once I weld the rests for it to the side of the inner wall. As for the slots n dots, ordered the panels off amazon, the most common size was 32" x 16".

Already have the light, it's so damn bright I'm glad the doors block it when they're up. Also already hogged out a hole with a rubber grommet for an extension bar with a triple usb outlet. Can't get too cozy in there til it's painted and done.

I'm not sure about the snap on one but mine folds up and out, it'll sit at an angle upwards which doubles as a blind for the 4 ft LED light I have in it. I just found a pic of an older style hutch from Snap On, it makes me feel a bit better knowing I'm gonna slap a snappy decal on it when it's done lol.

Used 14 ga for sheeting, into it for about $1k cdn at this point. Got the doors bent up and riveted a piano hinge to them, hung them by 2 bolts at the top and still have to weld a couple open position holders. Powder coat next week.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yea I was already thinking of selling my year old 43 as I want it to match the 2 flat black 1023's I have. Now with this new setup it looks like I might have to order one up with (4) 2" drawers and (5) 4" drawers like the green posted above. I find this 43 and new 430...

Re: Snap on krsc46 mod thread . I sent an email today to Snap On Canada and got a reply of no when I asked about adding the new drawers to my 43. I'll bug the rep next week and get him to bring in some trays and slides, shouldn't need new tops. Are you able to get a parts breakdown of the 43...

Lol soooo good. I worked with a few tool polishers. They got laid off. I'm still employed. Nuff said. At home I do try and keep everything in mint shape but at work using tools on heavy equipment and trucks all day **** gets thrown around and pulled across the floor with airlines, it's just hard...

We're in Canada so shipping would be ridiculous. Any bike shop could order one in, and HF may sell them down there.
