Its the base of a Wardwell Manufacturing Bandsaw blade sharpener. I bought the whole unit just for the stand and sold the blade sharpener.

Any ideas what this is used for? or part of? I was thinking maybe a vise for a large horizontal bandsaw. Just wanted to edit that isnt mine.

Thanks Outlaw! Its obviously not too pretty. but it doesn't want to pop out. I think I will have my friend with a 220v Miller welder do another for me, but with a thicker and little deeper front plate. Heres a couple other pictures I snapped over the few days I was messing with it.
