    Spark plug gapping tool ?

That's why I like the Lang gap tool. You guys need to use the little slot in the end to hook the plug and bend it open. The ramp isnt used as the gapping tool; it's meant for measuring only. To close the gap, tap the plug on a hard surface, to open it, use the end of the tool. It's the best...

    1/2" torque wrench recommendations?

I bought a snappy 1/2 on Ebay for $115. I wanted a used one because I do not like the etched markings on the neq ones...I wanted engraved. Gave it to the snap on guy and for around $75 I had it rebuilt and calibrated. Better than $400 for a new one.

    1/4" stuby air rachet

I have 3 air tools from HF and am very impressed with their quality for the price. The right angle drill, and the super tiny 1/4 ratchet are my two favorites. The ratchet isn’t a powerhouse, but it spins quickly and is great for things like oil pans or other small fasteners in hard to reach...

    Look for impact sockets

I have HF, USA Williams, USA Craftsman, and Sunex. My least favorite are the HF. I never use the Craftsman sockets because they are in my home box, but I really like them. I use Williams at work and am super happy with them. The 21 and 3/4 are my most used. The Sunex are in my truck as part...

    quality vise grips

I have a pair of knipex at work that ****! The teeth have rounded off and they hardly grip anything. I’ve had the best luck with the USA vise grips and the new Milwaukee’s.

Snap-On SHLF80A 25" flex Ratchet: What is it good for?

It’s my favorite ratchet. In fact, I own two. One for work and one for my truck tool set.

    Replacing all with Semi Deeps?

If you try to “get away with” using 1/4 and 1/2 in lieu of 3/8 I think you will find yourself frusterated rather frequently. There are times where a 1/4 will not give you the reach, leverage, or acces you would get with a 3/8. Likewise, 1/2 is larger and access to tighter areas will become...

C-Clamps grease? Lithium, Silicon or Antiseize?

I shoot mine with WD-40 if they are sticky. I find that the stuff usually evaporates before the next time you use it, so you don’t need to worry about it attactng dirt while sitting there.

Craftsman 36" Pry Bar with Strike Cap, USA $11.99 on Sears.com

Last night my local store had 1 in stock, but I was too lazy to go upstairs and get my credit card. This morning when I go to order it, its OOS. The next closest one is 27 miles away. That’s what I get for being a bum!

    Snap on Ratcheting Screw Driver

I have the comfort grip ratcheting screwdriver. I love it, especially because I can change the shanks. I have three different shanks, and use the stubby shank and 1/4” shank as a nut driver all the time.

    Williams USA vs Snap-on sockets?

I have both Williams and SO sockets. My impact stocket sets (SAE and metric) at work are both Willaims USA and I love them. I have a slightly different feeling about the chrome Williams USA sockets. I have a few of them and have found that the metal seems to be a little soft and has deformed...

Whats a good tool set for the car ??

I went through this a year or two ago. I have a Jeep that I take 4 wheeling and have a truck and trailer that I tow it around with. The Jeep is essentially a tube buggy with very few stock parts. The truck is a 1996 powerstroke with 245k miles. I wanted a complete set of tools to use to fix...
