What or how do you recommend I address the 4 broken bolts that hold the jaw pads on.

So if I keep tapping it to one side, the swivel jaw will come off?

Had the acetylene on it for 10 minutes and I can't expand it anymore.

Still haven't gotten the pin out. :(

Here are some pictures. Notice all the colors lol. I have tried heat, jack nut, and tapping on the pin. The jaw marks on the pin are from me trying to turn it with a pipe wrench.

OK well I got what I needed and tried the jack bit...boy was I getting nervous cranking on that thing. I used a wire brush checked on my drill and brushed off all the areas around the jaw and pin. I then thought, what if the pin is threaded? Thoughts?

What exactly do I need to make one...

Ok...wish I would have known not to hulk smash at that pin lol. I just have a hard time believing that the little jack would work over me hitting the hell out of it.

So I went back out... I found the access from underneath for the swivel pin. It's super easy to get at. It is in line with the swivel base screw. Needless to say with a 5 pound sledge, a 1 foot piece of rebar and some heat and it wouldn't budge.

Is aluminum oxide ok to blast with?

One thing that pisses me off are all 4 of the jaw pad screws are broke off. I'm not sure the thing even swivels.

Going to need some advice guys. Im not giving up on this thing. I want to bring it back! I was able to hammer the static jaw pad off, both screws were broke off flush with the jaw as you can see. The other jaw didnt seem like I could hammer it off. It looks like the dynamic jaws pad screws are...

So welding a nut to it is acceptable?

I'm tempted to weld a nut to it.
