I believe most pros do it on the passenger side so you can pull in, swing arms on driver's side, go to/swing passenger side and then right up. About efficiency of movement/time. Mine is on the driver's side, but I'm not in a hurry and already had a post sort-of in the way there.

Never thought about that, but interesting since the Rotary model it's cloned after only has one anchor on that side. I've had my Apex-10 installed for a couple years, no issue with the three being there...I see your point though.

Looks good Dave! One item the manual doesn't cover and looks like you still need to do. On the long arm, pull out the small bolt on top, it will allow full extension; I think they do that so it doesn't shoot out in shipping.

I installed my Apex-10 last year, great lift and only complaint is the manual (installed asymmetric). Poorly written and vague, but I found the Rotary manual covered all the pieces that GS misses, along with language of someone on our continent. The lift is built well, comes with the adapters...

+1, exactly what I did. Fiber, dug out and reinforced where the columns would end up going prior to placing concrete. Atlas Apex-10 installed, couldn't be happier, creeper is retired.
