FYI - Maxjax went out of business. Good news is that BendPak bought their assets (and the rights to the MJ name and will be re-releasing a new version soon. Most places are out of stock from when I looked at home depot and a couple of others. I have had my MJ for 5 years and rarely move...

I do notice it takes a tiny bit longer for my 08 tahoe to go up than a 3000lb passenger car - but not much longer..:thumbup:

If I do not have the cars centered almost perfect, I can run into this. When I do put a pin in just past the first hole and set it down on the pins to equal out the car and then continue to lift. Then I give the inside of the towers a good squirt of lithium lube. Usually helps out. Good luck.

Thank you! You make a good point, if you get a maxjax you should measure with your vehicles in between the towers first to see if there is a mounting position that allows one mounting position to the floor to lift all of your vehicles due to the differences in where you have to extend to...
