I went 24x36 deep with 2 10x10 doors. When it was built I had a crew cab long bed dually and if was only 24 deep you would barely be able to walk around it. If you don't need to store something as large as a dually I would go 36 wide with 3 doors.

I have a 4 post lift and the ramps can be used on either end without getting in the way of the release handle. Mine is a no name Chinese lift but looks just like the Atlas 8000. There is a bolt on part that holds the ramp on that gives clearance for the lock release.
