Race Ramps would be my choice. They come in all shapes/sizes/lengths.

The only time I've experienced enough sway to bother me was when the trailer was empty. Oddly enough, both my trailers were purchased ~850 miles away and came home empty. I've always towed with 3/4 tons or a (now) 1 ton though!

The basic 3spd Honeywell fans from Walmart work great and are dirt cheap. I use them in my race trailer and in my utility room to keep air moving.

I've done broken exhaust manifold stud extraction by mig welding nuts on to the leftovers with great success.

Another vote for Ubiquiti Unifi. Although the Eero system I installed for my in-laws has been working flawlessly.

You're on the right track. You could do CAT6 but should have lightning arrestors at each end. 3/4" conduit should be fine but the pre-terminated end would be the deciding factor.

I think next time I see a carbide chain in the saw shop, I'll grab one to try. I've been thinking of picking up another saw for bucking larger trees and just need an excuse anyways.... ;)

I usually touch mine up when refuelling so that I can catch an issue before it becomes a bigger one. I have no experience with the electric sharpeners, but I have 3 saws and probably 15-20 chains. I don't cut wood for heat (yet) - just acreage management between 2 properties. My family benefits...

This has been a very informative thread. I struggle to bring chains "back" after abusing them cutting stumps/low to the ground and have usually just replaced it with a new one. Maybe one of these sharpening machines is in the cards....

Glad you got it opened. I went through a similar situation with mine, ended up having to get them to send me a new keypad. Apparently it's a "known issue" but I couldn't get in for ~2 weeks!

Another vote for WD40. Pull the drawer and soak the face in a container of it.
