I got an Atlas Apex 10k with height extensions. Picked it up from the Greg smith warehouse in Atlanta. I chose a 2 post because, in my opinion, I can do more with this lift than I could with a 4 post, except Store a car. Please excuse the mess from the packing Material in my shop haha

Update Got the lift in, just gotta get it wired up! So when I drilled test holes to see how thick my slab was I was actually about 20’ away from where I was going to put the lift, when we started drilling for the anchors we actually found that the half of the shop where I put the lift is...

Thanks guys. I’m going to drill a few more spots tonight to make sure my slab is nice and uniformed 4”. If it all is I’m going to go ahead and skip pouring the footing. So on a 4” slab would the anchors need to be around 3” deep?

Can you explain what you mean by beveling and stair stepping. Also, you said don’t go too deep, I’m assuming you mean, make sure the anchors are not past the concrete.

The slab is roughly 17 years old and in excellent shape. I’m just worried about later down the road getting stress cracks in the concrete or my lift failing because of that. I could be overthinking things but I think I might want to get this knocked out now rather than later if there is an...

My slab where I want to put my lift is 4” thick . The lift I’m going to get calls for 4” minimum concrete but I’m not so sure I want to go with the “minimum”. I was wondering round about how much some of you have paid to get new footing poured for your lifts.

What size wire did you run to the lift? Picking up an atlas apex in August but I want to get the wiring sorted before I get it.

Haha no worries. My shop is a mess right now. Whenever I get a free weekend (a week would be better lol) I'm going to go through and reorganize/clean! I also ordered the rest of the LED bulbs I need to finish converting all of my overhead 8' fluorescent fixtures. Shop is 40x60. Pics...

I have my dream shop. Saving for a lift now and have been thinking about building a small loft in the back for a hangout area.
