Without a doubt. It was reasonably lit before, but it's miles better now.

I got light fixtures in to replace the simple bulb hangers I had before. I'm super happy with the amount of light. The garage still has a ways to go but it's slowly getting there.

I got a new Gravely 52" Gravely ZT-HD delivered last week. I haven't tried it out yet as we just planted grass about a month ago, but I'm looking forward to the first mow.

A couple friends came over and helped me pour a 93sqft concrete pad out my back garage door. Used 71 80lb bags of concrete, really glad I bought a concrete mixer for this one. We did our first batch at about 8:30am, and poured the last batch about 11am.

My wife and I were just talking about how we should do exactly that!

I have three 98022s in my garage and really like them. I bought them because it opens a bit of overhead space and doesn't block any lighting compared to a traditional opener. These are also a ton quieter than the traditional opener in my last house but that could be just old opener vs a new one...

This is really a cool program for those of us who make cabinets on occasion but havent mastered it. I love the sheet optimization as I always feel like I do a terrible job of that and end up with about as much waste as I do good parts. It would be great if you could switch it to imperial units...

I did it last fall. I had to move everything into storage while my wife and I moved to a temporary house while our house was being completed, then moved it again into the new house. If we didn't have half a dozen family and friends come to help us, I'm not sure how we would have done it.

Put a new water pump in my 2016 Focus ST this weekend. It went so smooth I dont think I even used any expletives!

I have mine at about 42" right now. I really prefer more of a bar height than a counter height. I'm considering a box that's 46" tall, and if I buy that I'll raise the bench to match.

That must not be the case here, but I cant say for sure. I didnt have the basement finished, but they had to hang drywall on the ceiling of the basement for "fire code", again that drywall is a level 0, no taping. Every single unfinished basement/garage I've been in has been the same.

I dont know enough about the codes to answer that question. I know in this area a level 0 garage is pretty normal unless you specify otherwise.

You are absolutely correct. I just find myself low on funds and high on time right now. Got it done, took me about 65 hours to complete. I'm at zero risk of being recruited by local drywall companies, but it's good enough.

My last house had a detached garage that had no access door. It always scared me that if something catastrophic happened to the opener, getting in would be tough. I put in one of the keyed disconnects just for peace of mine, but never actually had to use it.
