The guy that did mine which was a new pad ground it with diamond pads to 800 grit then applied Convergent densifier 244+ and then their Petra Guard and then burnished it in with pads.

I took it apart and just cleaned it up and regressed everything, it is not perfect but don't really want it to be as it will be a working used vice in my new shop. I found the date on the underside of the key while I was cleaning it up and it is 11-1993 so a newer one but I got it the brass soft...

It is closed as Miller. It is actually reopening as Purina facility. I was just trying to figure out dating on the Wilton.

Did not think about that so will look at removing the key and see if the date is on another side. The vise came from Miller Brewing and the Eden plant opened in 1978.

I have looked for date stamp and can not find anything. I also have not been able to find anything with the Made in The USA sticker on the jaw. Does anyone have any ideas what era this is from?
