    Scholler Adjustables

Don't know. I will have to look. All of my "adjustable wrenches" are in the metric drawer of the tool box. They are metric right? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

Help removing collar on vintage Reed vise

I think I would spray bolt and nut remover on it and let it soak for 12 hours then spray it again. Then attempt to knock it loose. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    Found this today...

I have many large sockets welded to smaller ones to use with my 3/4 breaker so I can work on HD engines. I could have bought the 1/2 breaker but it was too short for the amount of torque that the crankshaft nuts take. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

Can you recommend good drill bits for safety wiring?

You will want to get jobber length bits. That is the short ones. Drill the hole just a few thousandths larger than the wire. Have fun and keep the rubber side down. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    Kobalt tool box quality.

I had a garage fire. My tool box was burned badly but the tools survived just fine. Even the torque wrenches! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    Pencil grinder

I have one and it has been easy to use. I use it with a one sided diamond bit and have no problem whatsoever. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    Suggestions for forging

Heat treatment can be done in a number of ways. You can heat your piece and plunge it in oil, or you can heat allow to cool down slowly, do this a number of times 2-3 this is annealing. The final step is to heat your piece and plunge it into oil. Try to avoid water as you may crack the piece...

Looking at a tool box. Performax vs Harbor Freight (US General)...

I have a Menard's Performax Tool Chest. Top and bottom box. I also have a U.S. General from HF. I am going to say that the Menard's "special" is the better of the two. I have had the boxes for a number of years now. The Performax was a replacement for a Mac tool chest that got ruined when the...

help me identify these starrett depth gauge accessories

They could be depth gauges. By the pictures posted, I see that they are all different length. I could be wrong, and probably am, but I believe that they were used to check a specifically wide slot, or the depth of a counter bore. Just my HO Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

    Ratcheting, multiposition screwdrivers

I have a few different Snap on directional screw drivers. I do not like the newer model I have with the 1/4 turn cap. The damn thing is always popping off. I prefer the older ones that I have with the screw on top. I use them when I am going to use a hand screw driver. I use my Makita more often...

    Brown and Sharpe level

I can't tell you the age, but it appears to be part of a 4 piece set. If you can see slots on it they are for an 18 inch steel rule that slides into it and then you can draw precise angles. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

    Off camber ratchet crunching

Get some of the extensions with the small wobble end. That way you can put the socket off of the 90° and I would think that it will not "crunch". By the way, I have many, many 3/8 ratchets and not 1 crunches. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
