Just thought I would show everyone what a little Evapo Rust and some time can do. I am posting the after pix because the before pix are already on here. I am about 25% done with the pile I have.

Soaking a few in Evapo-Rust and transmission fluid now. If anyone is interested I will post some pix after cleaning.

Well someone was right. A little grease works wonders. Some of the drawers would barley open now they work pretty much like new. Thanks to everyone

Ok thanks for the advice. One of the slides came off and i fixed it but it is hard to slide so i will try some grease.

I spoke with WaterLoo customer service and they tell me that I can not replace the friction slides that I have with ball bearings. That was my whole intent because the friction slides I currently have hang a lot and its hard to open the drawers. Guess I will just have to live with it or replace...

ok thanks there web site said there was a white label in the top right drawer with model number but its to worn to read thought someone might know if other brands of stuff would fit it.

has anyone ever heard of this brand of tool chest? I need to replace some of the drawer slides and was wondering what to buy?

sold $80 worth this weekend at 4 for a dollar lol and still have half of them left guess they all like scrap around here

Yes they are genuine Vise-Grips and the pliers that are missing the nut are Lyectrolux just goes to show you that some people never throw away anything.

Ya i think thats about how i feel right now also. He passed away the first of December.

yes i think the vinegar is to harsh. Currently i am trying a few in some lime juice as my wife suggested.

yes he would leave them out in the rain and the boxes would get full of water

Thanks for your reply and yes what should i do with all of them. If your FIL used them for his life time they must be good wrenches. Unsure if i want to take them to the flee market or just keep them in case i need them sometime in the future.
