I am a little wary of SRAM chains. I have snapped two rather new SRAM chains on my polo bike. Not a fun experience. Even came across a guy with a snapped chain on the trail once. I had to ask what brand and how old. SRAM, one week.

All the Park tools I own have held up really well, and most of them are the newer offshore production. My Dad also uses some Park tools but on his snowmobile. The cone wrenches come in handy on the tracks.

When I am working on rusty or tight stuff I reach for my Proto ratchet. Yeah, the head is wide(though less thick) the tooth count super low, but it is sturdy. Not worried about shearing off a tooth on the inside with it.

Probably not a big deciding factor, but I like the folding Ridgid battery powered lights a lot. Everybody brings their own battery powered lights to the courts so we can play at night. The ridgid ones sure seem to fill in the light the best.

I bet everyone is right with it being potmetal. Which probably means lead or zinc.

SLIbuy.com in Shorewood also sell a lot of Amazon and Home Depot returns in the Chicago area. Never dealt with them but you could cut out the middle man if you feel like taking a chance on these returns.

Outlaw, I see no signs of heat being put to the wrench and the bends look so close in radius to the normal offset bends. But you are probably still right, I doubt the factory would put a bend where the size stampings are located. Karl

I try buy ones that have the temperature range that goes the lowest in whatever brand the store I am at happens to carry. Otherwise they seem to snap really easy on my wheel covers from shots.
