My mustang project began a little unconventionally. I had this Hemi for years, always thinking I would build a '32 roadster for it. I told my wife I wanted to get it in a car and she said we already had a roadster. I said what about a 55 Chevy? She said she likes muscle-cars more. I thought...

Been busy working on the Mustang (that's another story I'll add in a bit). Got the TV up in the corner. It looks so small but it's a 65" -27 for two nights here, but it's a toasty 60 degrees in the shop. So nice to have finally!

Not quite sure what the ratio was in the rear end, but it has a 700R4 and 70 MPH is about 2300rpm. Final weight is 7950lbs on a scale. It's whole life I don't think it ever went over 45mph.

Sure! The beam and spindles are all stock. We took off the spindles and measured to see what rotors/bearings might be close. We found out that we could lathe the spindles down to the profile for 2011 Ford F350 rotors. Here we lathed it to the F350 profile for the bearings and retainer...

I had the Hemi for years and always thought I would build a 32 Ford for it. I have a '27 T already. My wife kind of frowned at another roadster - she said she likes muscle cars better so I pondered what would be my dream car to put the Hemi in = Mustang Fastback!

LOL, I bought the roaster for the stand (another idea I got from this site) but it is in perfect shape - so I think I'll use it to roast stuff! The tools face the office and on the car side is a countertop sitting on a Coke machine shell with many parts bins on top. I can put parts and tools on...

Sure! I call him Junior. I found it on Craigslist. '58 Viking with a 283. Wanted to make a car hauler out of it. Cut the frame off behind the cab, added two feet to the wheelbase and mounted a 2008 F350 rear-end. Got a 1999 5.7 Vortec from a Silverado and a 700R4 Left the serpentine...

Nice Sun equipment! I got my SUN units this year but haven't had time to fire them up. I'd like to get them running if they don't.

Actually that drywall went back when we found out we didn't need it as a fire barrier to my neighbor's property. Going to leave the floor as-is. It's sealed. I like plain concrete myself.

Moved in just in time for the cold and snow. Now I can give the Chevelle some TLC and finish the Mustang. Furnishing it with old cabinetry, tools and toolboxes wherever I can find them. Now it's down to the small stuff to get her on the road.

Back driveway going in. I love how my big oak in the back towers over the backyard. No branches hang over the house or shop though. Time to sheet-rock. On the far wall, I added brick masonite to break things up visually. Furnace going in. I have the AC unit to hook up this...
