Max Jax install and concrete thickness issue

As a Canadian Dannmar dealer and installer, we recommend a good 2 part epoxy to be used with the anchors on MaxJax. I believe Dannmar sell it or you can get from the local Fastenal store or similar. The epoxy is stronger than the cement and will really hold the anchors. You still need the...

    110 volt lift motor

If your lift is a ALI approved lift like BendPak, the power unit will be tested for both 110v and 220volt. I would not worry about ordering 110volt. 110 volt will just take a little longer to lift likedrm4633 said. I am a lift dealer in Canada and we sell them both ways with no issues.

Need ideas for a shop in B.C.

My fellow Canucks Its great to see a bunch of Canadians all in one thread. For most home lifts 2 post or 4 posts 4" of 3000 psi concrete is all that required. For a 2 post lift you will want 12'6" of ceiling height,, you can get away with a little lower but 12'6" is a safe. I get a lot of...

Electrical Safety Inspection Problem - Car Lift

Ezzie I am glad to see you passed. FYI,the lifts themselves are not CSA approved The power units are. Since the power unit is an expensive part of the lift, most importers stick with the offshore units. Most offshore units would not pass the Canadian standards and its expensive to get the...

    Canadian MaxJax......eh?

The pictures look good Kool. The power units are CSA approved Tech Guy, we don't sell a lift that is not. My understanding of insurance is that if you don't have a CSA or C-Ul approved power unit and you have a fire, your not covered. Jeff from BendPak told me that they did a study on offshore...
