I was actually thinking that. With a brand new blade on a good hacksaw and old fashioned miter box I might be able to get a better cut than with any power tool grinder blade. Or just score a line on it and cut by hand.

So abrasive cutoff disk in the angle grinder sounds like the best method, clamped down onto a scrap of wood to keep it stable? And then finishing it off with a hand file? I don’t have that many cuts to make so I can afford to take the time to mess with them and get them right.
