I like my M12 Fuel High Speed 3/8ths...I broke a Non-Fuel 3/8 but my repair center had it fixed pretty much on the spot, I guess they have a known weak spot.

Yep, slowing kitting myself out with SK stuff in 3/8ths not bad stuff in the deals section got a 1/4 SAE deep set, 3/8ths metric deeps for 60 each, some misc screwdrivers..it adds up just be paitent

I was thinking that as well, my needs are automotive, rusty bolts on brakes, suspension components etc. on old Square Body Pickups....im also not afraid to use heat, PB-Blaster and a breaker bar. Plus my daily driver and the wife's, I don't think the stubby would have any issue tackling...

I get really skiddish about buying used hand tools....In my previous life I had the luxury of having access to a SO truck and he would work with us to swap tools out when we broke them, and come to us, half the cost of snap-on seems to be the convince of it all. But i'm not sure a SO truck...

I'm really liking the idea of an M12 Fuel Stubby 1/2 impact to run in conjunction with an M18 Fuel high Output. seems like a winning combination.

Milwaukee makes, i would argue, the best power tools on the market today in the M18 Fuel line. They seem to be doing just fine lol.

The nice thing is you can get individual specialty tools from SO or Mac or whoever....I would argue that spending SO money on largely generic(say a 3/8 chrome socket set for arguments sake) as a DIY guy is foolish, it is absolutely diminishing returns ONCE you get to the middle of the road...

Some Tools are worth buying from Snap-on IMO, a lot of tools getting by with the middle of the road stuff is absolutely fine and will not make one bit of difference, and as a homeowner or a DIY guy is actually easier to warranty. Quality Electric tools(impacts etc.), say the Milwaukee M18/12...
