i havent done much research, but my snappy dealer keeps re-iterating that matco is made by danaher, which are sub-par tools, ect..... my matco guy has a great reputation but i've just found their latest sockets, and 3/8 ratchets to be poor quality, and im curious as to who really makes matco's...

i also use the snap on 1/2 and 3/8 drive impacts, and i have one light and the screwgun. by far the handiest tools in my box...make sure you get the covers for them or the paint will flake off. for home i have a dewalt 18v xrp 1/2 impact...works great, but not as well as my snappy!
