Im thinking of making my own tool chest as I cant really find what I want and they are also too expensive for me, plus I love to build things. Anyone done this before, got any plans? Or am I just gonna have to figure this out myself? Anyone got anu good ideas to incorperate into my design...

Sounds like he is talking about airlines. Which you can also run water through, The mechanics where I used to work used air lines and air guns on an air reel for shop water (filling radiators, batteries etc.)

Russel, I did an entire portfolio on the bench, but have lost it all, had some great pics of the entire production process but alas have no idea where they are. The 4x4's are notched to accept the 2x4s so they sit in flush in the 4x4s, they could probably just have been glued in but I did both...

Lip, I think the popular machanics plans were where I got the original idea from, then modified to suit my tastes. Your right these things are tough as, I really like the design, simple and STRONG. Cheers
