    Gas line size.

I ended up running 1/2” black pipe today. That was recommended to me by the place I bought the furnace, I will need to add a regulator at the end to reduce down to .5 psi. Pressure tested everything and it held air, no leaks. Will mount the furnace and vent this coming week.

It appears the pipe labeled “main” is 1/2” and labeled 2psi, there is then a regulator and the dryer, furnace, fireplace, water heater are also 1/2” soft copper are after the regulator. Where the main line connects to the regulator and appliances is about 25’-30’ from the meter.

Natural gas, csst. It will be the same pressure as what supplies the other appliances I mentioned. Looks as though all the other appliances are using 1/2 soft copper.

Thanks for the reply. It was around 65 air temp when I applied and it dropped to 37 degrees when I drove in to work the following morning. I don’t know what the concrete temp ever was. It’s now been 38hrs and it is slightly tacky in places, semi gloss in others and doesn’t look like anything was...

    Epoxy Primer Not Curing

Over the last week I have been prepping my garage with grinding and cleaning. Well fall came this week and so did lower overnight temps. I decided to go forward and start the process of coating the floor with corotech v155 primer only to wake up to a still wet garage floor and regret that all my...
