I fought with the auto drain on the compressor. It leaked and required a fitting to be turned/faced off in the lathe. The threads were not cut correctly and it was bottoming before sealing on the threads. It was a little frustrating to figure out. 🤔

I think you are right! It's an interesting situation. I might try to space out shim the existing seal, but it would be ideal if I could just pop the right one on. Seals are sometimes a mystery to me 🤔

Ran a new circuit for the air compressor from my sub panel. Planning the next step in the process. Thinking about picking up the auto drain system Kay shared from HF, but it's a risky move venturing into the import store around Christmas time.

The positioning and lifting it was about as sketchy as it gets. I had to lift it manually off the forks onto the rack. Pert near straight out of the Klaus forklift operator video. I need to make a small pallet for it or a fork pocket to lift it.
