Im in the process of buying a HUD house that was built in 1890. In the escrow HUD said I needed to have gutters put on the house. My problem is the eaves are open, no soffit exists and it has rounded rafter tails. I would prefer not to close it up because I would like to keep the house...

Im not big on HF but if you need the storage space for tools than that would be an easy way to get it with out having to spend alot out of pocket, and from what i have heard the HF boxes arent to bad

My friends house backs up to the golf course and they arent allowed to have mini barns so he filed a permit for an addition and just had a mini barn built right behind the garage finished out the same as the house so it looks like its attached and the building permit specified it was an addition...
