I was hoping to see one of those too. I also wanted to see a longer handled 1/2“ drive!

I’ve had overall good results with various Japanese manufacture’s cutters. I reach for my Victor Plus cutters a lot, and they are plenty hard and tough. I’ve had some Merry cutters with very soft edges, and some which can cut nails with no problem. I find Knipex is pretty hard to beat and some...

For some reason I have a soft spot for Aigo. I use my vintage finds quite a bit!

Got me some KTC SAE combination wrenches up to 3/4. The fit and finish is nice and I love the crisp forging on the logo and size designations.

I got some Koken SAE 3/8” drive sockets to keep and use at work. 1/4”-3/4” Interesting about the Zeal rails being found other places… I went out and checked an old Kobalt rail I had in a drawer and lo and behold it had exactly the same clips!

I have two of them in 1/4” & 3/8” drive, and I’ve liked them very much. Decent backdrag, I like socket retention feature, and it’s fun to have some Deen gear from Factory gear!

I like it! And nice wrench too. I’ve been looking for a 150mm and a 600mm for months but I’ve only seen one 600mm on some Malaysian site that I couldn’t figure out.

Found and added a 300mm & 200mm to my vintage Aigo lineup. (The 300mm has never been used and is like new) -Brando

I got them on Amazon Japan. The wrenches I bought individually. Incidentally, they must not have been manufactured at the same time because there are slight differences in the forging of the logo and size designations.

Webike Japan. They focused on motorcycle parts and stuff, but also sell tools, and happen to stock only SOME Deen items. The shipping is kinda prohibitively expensive.

Yeah most of their stuff is made in Taiwan, although it depends on the specific item. There doesn’t seem to be an easy/cheap way to get these. I went through the hassle just to try them out for fun. I got them through a Japanese third party retailer, but for most people I would say it’s not...

Got some of Factory Gear’s Deen tools. They seem to be decent quality upon first inspection and the fit and finish is quite good. Here’s a first look/impressions video if anyone want a more detailed look. - Brando
