    Matco Side Locker price check

Do you know what model number the locker is 4s, 5s? Sounds like from the size you listed its one of those. I would say $700 isn't bad. New they are going for $2400. If you don't have a hutch or top box you'll need an adapter plate to hang it on your bottom box.

Twin Piston Caliper Piston Compressor Tool

This is what I am currently using Lisle Quick Pad Spreader. I bought it to make compressing fixed calipers on Toyota trucks easier. This thing will do single, dual and quad piston calipers. It also keeps you from marring up the outside of caliper if you are compressing them with pliers.

Any techs have the IR hammerhead?

Ive got the 3/8 version. Its ok. I thought it was going to be more powerful than it is. I bought it because I didn't have a 3/8 air ratchet and thought this would work well for doing transmissions and other assorted confined work. I bought it from Tooltopia, they seemed to have the best...

    Thoughts on SnapOn Brake Bleeder

Pretty much what Fedwrench said. It faster to use a vacuum bleeder if you have an air compressor. I have this, http://www.tooltopia.com/private-brand-tools-70850.aspx don't remember the company that made mine but it was made in Australia.

    Thoughts on SnapOn Brake Bleeder

Depending on how great your snap on price is, it may be cheaper here. http://www.tooltopia.com/mityvac-mv8500.aspx It is a rebadged MityVac unit. I have a similar one but don't use it for bleeding brakes. It works well for vacuum testing things.

$50 at Matco .. what would you bring home?

I have the Mayhew version of this set I got off an independent dealer who went out of business. They look the same, more or less and work very well for various scraping needs. Separating oil pans is very handy with these.

    Matco Tools "Taiwan" sockets

Re: Matco Tools "Tiawan" sockets I bought both these Matco 1/4 14pc sets awhile back SAM146TB and SAMD146TA and I think the only socket with USA on it is the deep 10mm. I have been wondering why they didn't have the COO on them. Guess I know now. They are good sockets, but I understand what...

Need an opinion on impact sockets...

I have been using the craftsman impact sockets on a daily basis for about 3 1/2 years and haven't had a problem with them yet. Ive got both 3/8 10-19mm and 1/2 12-27mm sets in shallow and deep. I use the deep 3/8 and shallow 1/2 most often. Its true they do have a thicker wall compared to...
