I probably have 750 to 1,000' x 15' of asphalt. The driveway starts at the road and loops around 2 of my stables.

Craftsman Garden Tractor - Model #917.273050

I honestly know nothing about the maintenance cycle of either tractor that I got when I bought a new house last month. I have the above-mentioned Craftsman and a John Deere X320 (unsure of the year). The JD has a mower deck, but the Craftsman does not. What's funny is that I also have a JD 40"...

Craftsman Garden Tractor - Model #917.273050

Good evening, Folks, I have a 1999 Craftsman Kohler Pro 20 V-Twin Garden Tractor and I would like to put a snow blade (plow) assembly on it. Would anyone know what options I have? I think the original plow was 486.24443, but trying to locate a complete assembly from that time period is a pain...

We referred to these mechanical hand drills as Hurdy Gurdy when I was in Marine Corps back in the day.

I told him what I was looking for and he said that he'd leave it with the shop and I could settle up in cash. Here we are 3 weeks...

New wrench, been in and around garages since, well a long time.

I would try posting anything tool related in the "The Tools" section below; possibly under "General Tool Discussion". It's where all of us tool nerds sort of spend their time. And please, I'm Bryan... SSgt is overrated. lol

Welcome to the site. I'm not sure if there is a minimum post count prior to being able to post pictures or not... hopefully someone with more experience will chime in.

The Gratuitous Vintage Tool Rebuild Thread

I haven't worked on an aircraft in years. I was assigned to both EA-6B and C-130 squadrons as airframes and hydraulics mechanic in the 80's through late 90's. I always wanted to help restore something that was being memorialized.

I have them in Snap-On 1/4, 5/16 and 3/8 sockets in 1/4" drive. Never really needed them for any larger.

6" diagonal cutters comparison - Old Craftsman to new Klein (now added Channellock)

How do you know that they are made in America? The eBay listing doesn't state it.

Sheet metal on walls and ceiling

It was clearly an oversight, but I'm more of a 250 SWB guy... yet another car that I will not own. lol

12” SK Tongue and Groove Pliers *Top Quality*

I thought that SK were able to be taken apart by removing the screw? The ones you have look like the old craftsman made by WF. Did SK change the design again?
