    As far as the thickness of the tiles and sloping, I'll leave that to the folks at RaceDeck. The noise I mentioned is from walking or rolling items over the surface. It's kinda like the sound you get from Pergo flooring. Liquids do stay on the tiles due to the tight fit. I imagine if you spilled...

    A large part of the floor edge is covered by the cabinets, so nothing was done there. The left side of the garage has a small stem wall before the drywall starts, so I ran the racedeck up to the concrete and just left a small gap there. I was concerned about what to do with the edges, however...

    racedeck tiles and heat expansion

    I totally agree with Tone on the 1/2" spacing and cutting around the pipes. I just installed my floor and had to make several cuts. A jig saw or even a coping saw will work. The tiles cut fairly easy.
