    Got outlet problem solved ! Thank You everybody for the good advice and recommendations ! Its nice to have knowledgeable people here . It was a bad neutral wire on one of the outlets that had 120v . Wife is happy .... Thanks again

    110 & 220 is a HERE thing , always say or reference outlets as 110 or 220 in my neck of the woods . No gfci outlets in kitchen or bathroom . 5 wires to the outlet , 2 blk ,2 wht , plus 4 outlets to the circuit that I can tell when I shut the breaker off . When breaker is on I have 2 outlets...

    My bad on saying 110v , you are right it is 120v , its probably a HERE thing as everybody calls an outlet 110 ( half of 220 ) . I have had both outlets that show 65v covers off and replaced one with new receptacle and no loose screws on the other one.. My reason for replacing one with new one...

    I have tryed that , my breakers are marked , and i shut the one off and the 2 outlets that show 65v go to 0 , the others stay at 110 . I dont know why there would only be 2 outlets on the one circut thought.

    thanks for the replys . I should have given more info ( my bad ) . I have 2 outlets that read 65v and I replaced 1 receptical which I think is the first one in the circuit. no ground faults in circuits in this kitchen. On the outlet that I replaced I have pig tails tails that I screw in. I...

    I have a 110v outlet that only reads 65v , I replaced with new outlet , and still only have 65v . Anybody tell me what the problem is ? I am new to post here and not an electrician as you can tell , so I thank you for any advice you can give .
