    Ballistix Protective Sealer/Coating

I did a full grind and polish we started with 30/40grit pucks on a large propane planetary grinder. And went all the way to 800 grit resin bonds I removed a lot of material the look you see is actually from when they were screeding the concrete with a power screed when they set it down it...

    Ballistix Protective Sealer/Coating

Well as an update to this I redid the floor and so far it looks better than the last time and seems to be holding up. Had riggers come in with their forklifts and while I did have ram board type paper they shredded that rather quickly but the floor seems to have held up.

Followed application instructions exactly and over did it on the prep. And it was fine at first looked good but over the last couple months it started peeling. I had got some extra product before because I ran short on the last bit so I had enough to re soo it after drywall etc. I spent the...

    Ballistix Protective Sealer/Coating

I had issues with my application and while it looked pretty good at first after a couple months of light use it is peeling up in areas and is not looking great. But I have a polished concrete underneath so it still looks good just a bummer that the product didn’t really work and is not water...

I don’t think you need the lavina for what your are doing. It’s gonna cost 3k or so for the setup.

Grinding uneven/ not flat concrete floor?

Honestly with 30/40 buttons it’s already decently smooth. Going to the 70 didn’t visually look too much different actually except for a few spots that must have gotten a rock in there or something during the 30/40 and got more scratched. I ran about 20 passes with the 30/40 and barely have...

Grinding uneven/ not flat concrete floor?

Well I rented a larger 900lb propane grinder and things went ok. The grinder rental shop gave me the wrong diamond hardness even after I told them the hardness and I spent days grinding nothing because the diamonds kept glazing over. (they also told me what speeds to run the grinder and it was...

Grinding uneven/ not flat concrete floor?

I think Mazak specs out a 2ft thick foundation for them to garuntee their .0002” accuracy over the machine but that’s not needed for me. My last integrex was on worse concrete and held .0002” for me once warmed up. I also have a 22klbs forklift and my skid steer they will live outside but will...
