    Channellock bogo @ Fred Meyers

A couple months ago I bought some Channellock pliers that were pretty heavily discounted (420's for ~$11 or so) at Fred Meyers. A week ago I didn't see anything left.

    Your favorite boots?

I do enjoy my Danner super rain forests as work boots, made in the USA. The initial break-in was a bit rough, but now they fit like a glove (pretty snug when purchased).

Are the higher end jacks/jack stands worth the extra money for a weekend warrior?

I've got a 1532, and for the $220 online, it's a good jack. You can get similar specs for cheaper, but the lifetime warranty is hard to beat. I just dislike the graphics on the side is my only complaint

NAPA tools, any good? This looks like a good deal.

popstage2, I didn't mean to cause you any grief, I've been with napa nearly 5 years and have been slowly watching the transition away from USA stuff. I had ordered in the 3/8 62pc set at my own store to look at and I was disappointed to see china on it. Then the fact that I can get it from...

NAPA tools, any good? This looks like a good deal.

Just fyi, the sets pictured aren't made in USA. Individual replacement sockets and wrenches aren't available yet for these sets, they're completely different from the NHT USA stuff, and the evercraft stuff.

    SK grainger deal experience.

I called yesterday and had the order uncancelled, as well as the ratchet at my local branch put on will call for me. I can only suppose it was the one I had initially ordered. Picked my ratchet up this morning, glad it worked out in the end. It does have a few little scratches but I'm not...

    HOT DEAL Index!!

Gave in and picked up the Knipex at lowes. They were right in the electrical tools section along the bottom row. Then headed over to Home Depot and searched high and low for that 3 piece set and couldn't find one. Honestly couldn't even find the 2 piece set either, and I looked high and low...

HF 2 ton low pro jack = OTC clone?

I bought it at NAPA here in Columbia. In the case of the 1532 model, the warranty is an over the counter warranty where the store exchanges the entire jack, which the defective one gets sent back to the distribution center. The key is to keep a hold of the original invoice which is needed for...

HF 2 ton low pro jack = OTC clone?

OTC still carries the lifetime warranty on their jacks as far as I can tell. I bought a 1532 (aluminum racing style 2 ton) about 6 months ago and it is a lifetime warranty unit.

    Napa rebuilt motors (short block)

ATK is the main supplier for NAPA. Some stores go through Marshall for rebuild engines as well.
