    MR.HEATER 175,000BTU NOT HEATING PROPERLY

I know the heat is gonna dissipate at the very end of the tube, but if I was to put my thermostat down at that end of the build the thing would probably run for a long time before gettinf to temp. I know it looses temp the further it goes but you can't even feel the heat radiating down unless...

    MR.HEATER 175,000BTU NOT HEATING PROPERLY

Sounds good, I appreciate it. Do the blower motors ever get weak in these things or go bad? I know jt recommends a certain orfice but could there be a different one it actually needs too? I do agree it is probably too big but I feel like something is wrong with the unit itself.

    MR.HEATER 175,000BTU NOT HEATING PROPERLY

    MR.HEATER 175,000BTU NOT HEATING PROPERLY

I am located just outside council bluffs iowa. What is the temp drop on a unit this size from end to end. I stuck a temp gage on the heater and it is 700 on burner box side and about 170 4 or 5 feet from the end of the tube. I am considering just buying 100 btu unit. But I assume if the unit...

    MR.HEATER 175,000BTU NOT HEATING PROPERLY

I get your examples and that makes sense. I never looked at it that way. My over all length of my tube is 50 foot. So If I was gonna buy another unit I would probably need a 125btu unit or do I get 150? What's your formula for figuring it out ?

    MR.HEATER 175,000BTU NOT HEATING PROPERLY

Also is there a reason why my tube on this unit does not discolor all the way down? Is that because it is over sized ?

Ok I was told from another radiant tube heater company I only need to have around 115btu to 150btu at max? What do you suggest I should get ? Just trying to wrap my head around it all but how come if I am going to go lower in btu it is going to heat everything up faster or it is gonna be more...
