PVC/Rubber floor tiles or mats (smell?)

Thanks! What about rubber? Similar dissipation of off-gassing? I bought a case of the coin top utility tiles from HD (100% recycled rubber) and they smell pretty toxic atm. The whole house smells like a rubber factory and I haven't even taken them out of the package yet.
