Thanks! It was rolled to order by a local supplier (Northern Indiana). I did the same thing before breaking ground on my building. There is a ton of great info and interesting ideas on this forum. It was super helpful to reference throughout the build. I found myself googling (current...

Thanks very much. The main feed along the top was to keep the wall open between receptacles to push benches, cabinets, etc, up against the wall.

The tractor being put to work once again. Unfortunately, I began to notice some lines on the floor when moving things around. After further investigation and discussions with @Armorpoxy, the only culprit was thought to be residual moisture in the floor causing the coating to delaminate. The...

I added some 3/4 plywood behind the area for the floor heat. I dont know how exactly how things will be laid out, so more is better than less. Panel Installed. Meter base installed, inspected, and approved. Hopefully the power company will be out in the next few weeks to hook it up...

Thanks! Not yet. I am doing conduit on top of the liner panels for ease of addition in the future. Ill be sure to post photos of that. I have not fully decided on lighting yet. Anyone have any recommendations? I found these in the "best light fixture ever" thread...

Im not a fan of the look of most standard door brackets, so I ordered some aluminum L to hang the doors and openers. The weekend of August 30 I worked to install the last of the siding. This was much less fun without a scissor lift. As of last night, the exterior is complete minus lights...

Thanks! I had the same question when starting.. theyre just screwed thru the white hem. It seems like clips would be a better option, but the manufacturer recommended screws.

Really started making progress on the exterior when my uncle called and said he needed his scissor lift back. I asked him for one for week and he agreed without any protest. At that point I decided to reprioritize and put up the rest of the ceiling since this is would be the most difficult...

I wanted to get the garage doors functional so I decided to do the door wall ceiling panels. A very good friend that I haven’t seen in several years came to visit. Thankfully he likes projects as much as I do. We put up more steel on the outside and installed the garage door.

Thanks! Thanks to everyone else for the comments as well. The B&B goes on similar to standing seam with each piece interlocking the next. The hem is screwed on the left white portion, then the following piece interlocks into the hem, covering the screws.

Started installing on OH door.. I needed to do the ceiling before attaching the top panel and bracket. Ceiling panels going up. Cut to length. Stopped on the interior/garage door stuff since that stuff can be worked on without daylight. Once again, my dad came to help on Saturday and we...

Welp- a long over due update. Better late than never? 1/2 OSB sheathing completed on June 17. At this point, I was planning to do a steel roof... Synthetic underlayment put down. This went fairly quickly with a slap nailer. House wrap going up shortly after the underlayment. Roof done! I...

A friend delivered a couple loads of gravel and brought his skidloader over to get things somewhat in order. Here is where things stood for about the last 3 weeks due to the racing season getting into full swing, and lack of planning on my part. The trusses arrived last Tuesday, June 6...

I flattened out the yard a bit with the tractor. Lumber was dropped off last Thursday. New slab is pretty popular so far. My dad and I were able to get one 16' section up on our own on Saturday.. It was sketchy at best. I called a few friends and they came to help put two more sections up...

Inspection passed for the non-sanitary plumbing. Here is the manifold I whipped up. Initially i wanted to put pressure gauges on each loop to quickly identify which loop was faulty. I'm glad I didn't waste the time doing so. The slab was poured today, 26 Apr. The ruts from the gravel and...

Does anyone have recommendations regarding stud length? I would love to do a full 144 + sill and double top plates, but then the outside sheathing lands weird. From what I can find, there is a of of debate regarding horizontal vs vertical sheathing.
