Is this a pressure relief valve?

Even a 4.5 gallon tank will work good with that valve. The pressure will be more constant with a smaller tank. But I use a 20 gallon tank like you most of the time if there is room for it. Easier to set up than a smaller tank tank without a base. The biggest downfall is the increased back...

Is this a pressure relief valve?

Sometimes they take a little bit of adjusting to make them work correctly, but they are foolproof once they are going. And power issues don’t affect them like they do on VFD’s, etc.

Is this a pressure relief valve?

I thought you were talking about the red regulator on post #4.

Is this a pressure relief valve?

That is a Cycle Stop valve. Also known as a mechanical constant pressure valve. I have used many. It makes you able to use a much smaller tank than normal, and still get enough pump run time, plus constant pressure.

    Cut off wheels

I tried one and still have it. Doesn’t wear much but doesn’t cut anywhere near as good as an abrasive one. Haven’t used it for several years.

    Water softener sizing for iron

A water softener is for hardness, not iron. That is quite a bit of iron for a regular softener to handle.

    Help! Well sanitization question

The ChatGPT way is what I have been doing for 40 years in the well business. But the smell will very possibly return in a while. If it does, like others have said, have it tested and filter or condition accordingly.

    A good tire gauge?

I like my Astro digital one. Can add or release air very easily. I guess it’s actually an inflator, not just a gauge.

Around here, we push it back to the woods line. If not, by the time spring comes, there is no more driveway left.

    Plowing stone driveways?

I don’t think it matters much. I was afraid the 1 1/4” wouldn’t be big enough, but it seems to be fine. I would use whatever you have.

    Tyre (tire) lube storage question.

Mine evaporates. It lasts a little longer if I remember to leave the applicator stuck in the opening to close off the air. I have kind of converted to the paste lube in a sealed container.

    Plowing stone driveways?

I have another one on a 7 1/2’ quick switch plow on a Bobcat. It plows gravel and concrete every storm. It doesn’t dig up anything, but scrapes well also. I used 1 1/4” pipe on both.

    Secret Society of WD-40

A little WD-40 sprayed onto the trash bags on rubbish day keeps the crows from ransacking the bags.

Do they still make 4-post lift bridge jacks that are manual on the roller bearings?

Mine just sits on the floor with the air line going straight up, then over and back down to the lift. One of those coil hoses.

Do they still make 4-post lift bridge jacks that are manual on the roller bearings?

I use a Harbor Freight little tiny compressor on my lift for the locks. Works perfectly. Just a little loud when it runs.

This stays behind my seat all the time. Unbelievable how handy it is. It has well exceeded its 500 lb. capacity many times.
