Thank you for your input. Yeah, I have the new Rinnai (this one is a friend I'm trying to help) and when the thermostat is connected using the kit Rinnai provides, the manual controls are bypassed.- MattNH

I do not have any as of yet. The heater is up at camp and I have to get the rest of the model number from the plate when I go up there.- MattNH

Purchased a wifi thermostat and looking to connect it to my Rinnai Energysaver 556f unit. I'm having trouble locating the correct Wall Thermostat Installation Kit for this unit. It sounds as if it's possible that one does not exist if the unit is too old? If so, is there a way of getting into...- MattNH
